Elisabetta Dami: Book Week
Room 12 had to think of an author to write about for book week. Finally we thought of writing about Elisabetta Dami. She has written some of our favourite books called Geronimo Stilton. Room 12 had drawn some of the characters from the stories she has written as well as research about Elisabetta Dami. The envelopes had made the book week poster look a lot better.

Extreme Fun At Rainbows End
Hair blowing roughly as I was ride the scariest ride there!
We finally arrived at Rainbows End and had to prepare what we were taking in like mobile phones, lollies and chips. About ten minutes later we walked through a light brown building and through the black long poles with white balls on the top. While walking through the entrance a young tall lady gave us our grey wrist bands so we could all go on the rides. Everyone was excited and didn’t know what ride to go on first so we talked for a few seconds and decided we’d go on the pirate ship.
On Saturday it was a windy but sunny day. The wind was blowing very strongly and blew us slightly over. The wind blowing through our hair and making it all messy.
My friend Jazmyn was very enjoyable and fun to be with. She has light brown hair, hazel brown eyes and likes to play basketball. She is thirteen years of age and goes to Pukekohe High.
At last the pirate ship had stopped we had gone and peered at what else we would go on. Next my sisters, brothers, friends and I went on the fear fall. As we were going down we were laughing but at the same time we were screaming. After the fear fall we were about to try the ppw stratosfear but my friend admitted we’d go on, so we waited in line for about 15 minutes. Then my friends and I jumped in a car and remained in our seat until the operators came. It was very enjoyable.
When we walked out we were chatting away. We all asked each other ‘‘Should we try the stratosphere?’’
We walked over to the stratosfear and hopped in line and there were about twenty people in front of us and the nice lady opened the gate and told us to show our wristbands. We jumped up on our seats and buckled up.
Afterwards the operator checked our belts to make sure they were in.The machine started and we were spinning while going up and down. It was the scariest and most exciting ride there.

My family and I had loads of fun and wished that we could go once again.

Pt England Dress Rehearsal
Yesterday on Monday we enjoyed watching a Pt England rehearsal. Most of the Room 12 students went to watch the performance. Our school was one of the first schools to get there but then Glenbrae came as well as Puau school. When all the schools had settled down they slowly switched the lights off. They called the show Cindy in the House. We were laughing and giggling. The performance came to an end and we headed back off to school.
