P.E At St Kent's

On Friday some students from rooms 9,10,11 and 12 came early and were allowed to go in the van with the St Kent's teacher and Mrs Shortland. But for students that came a bit later on theywent on the bus.

Before we were allowed to hop on the bus we had to find out what teams we were in. After  we sorted out the teams we headed out to the bus. As soon as we got onto the bus the bus driver drove off. Then we arrived at St Kent's College and walked with our groups to the hall. As we walked into the hall we saw the other group leaders.

The St Kent's leaders were sitting on the benches waiting to take their groups. We were with Wesley and he was teaching us how to play basketball. First off we practised passing to each other. We tried other passes as well as bounce pass and chest pass.

After learning how to pass in different ways we were allowed to play a game of basketball. We had to learn how to dribble on the court. We had to get into two groups and verse each other. It was a fun game.

After the game we had the other students come onto the basketball court. All of us sat on the floor waiting for the other classes to arrive. Soon after they arrived. Then we said to them, "Thank you." Then we left.We walked to the bus and hopped in.Then we rode back to school.
